Now, as a PhD student, she’s crafting life support systems with spirulina, blending science with her knack for discovery. When she’s not in the lab, she’s chasing adventure—plunging into vivid underwater worlds, tackling indoor climbing walls (she’s eyeing cliffs next!), and hiking up Mont Blanc. In 2024, she nabbed her Private Pilot License, opening up the thrill of flight to her ever-growing list of passions.

Julien launched his career in renewable energy as a sales engineer, eager to make a difference in the world. That drive soon steered him to aerospace, where he now flies as an airline pilot and shapes the future with his satellite constellation consultancy. He thrives on adventure—zipping through the skies in light aircraft on exhilarating trips, diving into the ocean’s depths, and pushing the boundaries of space exploration. Julien’s always up for a new challenge, ready to see where it takes him.

Cécile and Julien crossed paths at the International Space University, where their love for space lit a spark that’s never faded. Since then, they’ve jumped into a life packed with exploration. They’ve trekked around Mont Blanc for ten days with a tent and supplies in tow, dived into stunning waters, and soared to far-off places together. They’re a perfect match—Julien’s been Cécile’s flight instructor, guiding her wings, while Cécile leads Julien underwater as his dive leader.
